Explore your readiness in reading, writing, and arithmetic, then speak with our team about supervised testing.
What is the Ability to Benefit test?
An Ability to Benefit assessment helps the school review academic readiness for training, including for applicants who do not have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Our team will explain which admission pathway and assessment requirements apply to you.
This assessment covers reading comprehension, everyday arithmetic, and written-language skills. You can prepare with the practice questions below.
Practice first. Test with authorization.
Practice: Free, no login required. Complete 15 sample questions and see your score, answers, and explanations immediately. Practice results are not saved as an admission test.
Administered assessment: Contact the school. An administrator must sign in, verify your check-in, and authorize your session. Students cannot create or unlock their own test sessions.
The current school assessment is a pilot. Scores alone do not establish an official ATB pass or an admission decision.
